Hey! This is Chloe.
I’ve been around motorsport for as long as I can remember — even before I was born, really. My dad raced everything from karts and bikes to cars and burnout comps, so loud engines, flying rubber, and high-speed corners were just part of everyday life. I grew up helping out in his workshop, and I’d often see my mum trying to capture him flying past on her Canon in a blur of speed. CG Trackside Media started as a bit of fun — picking up a camera to help promote my partner’s driver development business — but quickly turned into something more. What began as curiosity has grown into a passion for capturing the speed, chaos, and emotion of motorsport.
Why I do this
What I love most about photography is the creativity and the chase for that perfect moment. Freezing adrenaline, capturing motion, and giving people a way to relive their best moments is what drives me. There’s nothing better than catching a kart mid-corner, up on three wheels, or capturing that split-second overtake. My goal is simple — I want people to feel something when they look at my photos. Excitement, adrenaline, pride… like they’re right back in that moment.
How I work
My approach to shooting is a mix of preparation and spontaneity. I plan as much as I can, but motorsport never goes exactly to plan — and that’s what makes it exciting. While I might stand out in my high-vis media vest, I always aim to blend into the environment and capture things as naturally as possible — the cheers, the pressure, the battles on track, and the celebrations after the finish line. I want my work to tell a story of speed, bravery, sportsmanship, and emotion.
Fun Facts about me
Outside of photography, you’ll usually find me racing myself or spending time with family and friends. I love winding down with my cat Indi, watching a good TV series, and I’m never one to say no to an iced coffee or a cheeky Yochi. On track, I’m usually the one quietly singing whatever’s stuck in my head or doing a little happy dance between sessions because I genuinely love being there and capturing it all.
